I am sure the surgeon will be fine ,your mother has trust in the first one because she was seeing him and trusted him.Trust is a big thing when you are such things done, but this surgeon may turn out better.I agree it is not a good thing to have happen at this stage ,,, but i will send light and love xxxx
You have to wonder how in touch with the real world that these people are sometimes. 2 years ago, my mother was told that she needed surgery to repair a hole in her aorta, and that it would be scheduled ASAP, but it would take at least 6 months. All of the pre-op tests were done. After 9 months, I insisted that she contact the hospital to ascertain what the plan was. They had no records of her requiring the operation! After investigation, we found out that her surgeon was no longer operating in the public system, and had supposedly passed her record onto the JHH. So, last year, we started again. Her surgery was scheduled initially for Feb 21, and has since been post-poned until Feb 28. I think that she doesn't think that she's going to be around to actually have the surgery. And she's sure that she's not going to make it through it as she has been visited by her long-passed mum, who told her that "She'd see her soon".......
Whatever. I hope that Nan's just going to visit her again, and leave her with me.
And she has a chest infection at the moment, so if it doesn't clear up, then the op probably won't go ahead....
