Vertigo..........
You know when it's windy and you see a leaf being swirled around in it's own little vortex, stuck in a spiders web?
Up and down and spinning round and round and round, yet still anchored to the web?

Whenever I see them, I stop and watch, and I'm mesmerized. It's like the whole universe is being played out by that one tiny leaf in that tiny little tornado. :)
It also reminds me of the movie American Beauty... which provokes a slightly uneasy feeling as I'm NOT a gay teenage boy whose homophobic father shoots Kevin Spacey for having an imaginary affair with me amidst a confusion of rose petals and forbidden schoolgirl lust.
