The problem with journaling of any kind is that you only have time to journal or blog when you don't have much to journal or blog about. When your life gets running on full tilt, there's no time to capture it in words. So I guess the fact that I'm babbling on in this comment is evidence that nothing much is going on this morning. Blah blah blah. Zzzzzzz.
I have the same complaint about my once achievable vow to write two poems a day. The impetus to that is just...GONE! I have the proof that this time last year I easily wrote two poems a day and more.
I will add, however, that I sorely miss you though my grasp is easy and this is no demand that you return.
Some of the more delightful vacations I can think of are the trips I would like to make to see Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania, many of the islands arrayed north of Australia. Among these dream goals I have now highly placed the opportunity to come and have a face to face with you.
I balk at one requirement however. Ever since Homeland Security measures I do not qualify for a replacement driver's license should I lose mine, nor for a passport. I have to change my name legally first. It might seem a small thing to most of my friends and all, but my gorge rises in me. I really don't want to leave my birth name totally behind like that. The issue is that my primary document, my birth certificate is issued in another surname to every other record of my life. This will no longer do. I must have an established legal paper trail now.

I think when ...was when you didn't have a man full on in your life.
I have missed your posts but I'm happy you are.
