Maybe so....

I am upset

very upset

I am also angry

VERY angry

In fact, I am so angry I could vomit......

Being that I am very angry with my dying fucking parent maybe I should be feeling a little more reasonable.......

but you know what

Dying doesn't excuse some crap

It just doesn't!

Oh dear...not the best time for an ungrateful comment.
Step back my dear and take a breath.
It is awful to get a kick up the arse when all you have done is your very best to do the right thing..
it is heart breaking..w.w.

I am so sorry you are feeling so bad. And it doesn't matter what the person's circumstance - we can still get angry.

Feelings are so complicated, Michelle. Sometimes, it's better not to feed the anger.

*hug* *smooch* *hug*

Kicking a dying parent is not excused either.

Forgiveness is essential.

Loving you.

Wow...powerful, honest, absolutely right on. I'm sorry I haven't been following much lately. But I am sending good thoughts in your direction. I also just remembered, reading your blog, about when my grandmother (who raised me) was dying...over a long period of time. And I was sad, sympathetic, supportive, but also pissed off that I had to be a caretaker and guilty because at times I wanted her to hurry up. I expected relief when she finally passed. But oddly enough the day she finally died, instead of relief, I felt like my foundation of support had dropped out from under me. Feelings are all over the place...and all of them are appropriate. You are going to survive this.

Michelle it doesn't excuse it.

On the other side if your Mom's personality has changed totally then you can ask if they can MRI her head.

Tumors in the brain can make people very illogical and angry.

I hope not of course, I am just saying.

love Renee xoxo

p.s. the picture below is incredible.
