Awards and stuff

Many thanks to the lovely Cynthia over at Oasis Writing Link for this award today.

I'd like to pass it on to

Faith at Stones from my Heart, because she is brave

Audrey at Stage 3, Who Me, because she is too and she tells a good tale

Renee at Circling My Head, because she touches so many

and

Bagman and Butler because he/they is/are funny and sweet and give me headaches

Please pass it on as and if you see fit.

Onto daily drivel, I am, after yet another 4 am wake up, extremely tired.

The giant sandwich I ate with the witches of Waratah at lunchtime didn't help matters and now I am swollen and tired and cranky and a bit downish.

Been one of those days I suppose.

I really really need a day off

To myself

Just to sleep

Not to paint walls or party or talk or play

Just sleep and bludge and stuff

No kids, no parent, no siblings, no pets, no man, no nothing

Its been WEEKS....

Groan whinge bitch and moan

YAWN

s'cuse me

Yes you definitely need some quiet time alone just to potter...for some of us it's the only thing that gets us back on track...extroverted people get their energy from others while for introverted people their energy is depleted when they interact with others...and when I say introverted I don't mean shy or withdrawn...just more introspection...

Michelle, you are SO sweet - thank you very much for this award.
I hope you get some time to yourself! I find "me" time is not only refreshing, it is good for the soul.
Hugs to you!

Congrats, Michelle! :)

This almost made me cry -- I don't think I have ever been called brave before. Thank you so, so much.:)

I think you are brave. And strong. And oh so creative. There just is so much in your art and your words. I am so glad to have found your blogs.

The 4 am thing is a really awful. I have had the same problem in the past -- it really can make life miserable...

Here is a song my daughter shared with me Emilie Autumn - 4 O'Clock -- a little dark -- but sure describes how I feel at that hour! (hope the link works)

Take that day off if you can. You deserve it!

Congratulations and thanks...it is somehow surprising too...being acknowledged by someone I've been admiring. Oh yes...and lone time...last night I thought my wife was going over to watch the baby leaving me here...now everyone is suddenly coming here instead...I'm wondering if it would be noticed if I went out to the tool shed with a flashlight and read a book under the wheelbarrow.
