Well Renee, you will be pleased to know that I am off to the hospital for my 6... ummm... 7 week check up and also to my GP to get my teeth thing sorted out. They are still sore and I have 45 glands up in my throat every morning so something is going on there I'd say....bugger it! I have no time for the dentist!
My poor little mum had a major meltdown yesterday which involved screaming at the CD player for not working and stabbing the pork because the knife wasn't sharp enough to slice the rind :) Then she felt like a dick head all afternoon.......I did tell her that abusing appliances is acceptable but she was still drained and sheepish. Obviously she needed that! She has had a couple of days of feeling okay, aside from a bit of nausea and reflux yesterday morning, which is good.
Her pain has gone! This must mean the chemo is doing something right??
Today I am going to see my Lisa for a cup of cottage coffee and a chat...yay...well, all going according to plan that is
I have a big week ahead.....things to do, places to go and life changing decisions to be made and carried out
